So...yeah- hi from a very distant internet person

In the wake of the recent news, I'm just done with this place, ya know? I already lost, years ago, my energy to deal with deviantart just sinking deeper and deeper into...whatever is this that's happening to this website xD But after I've seen the news and read a lot of things- yeah, nope.

I'll keep this account for around a month so people know where to find me, but then I'll be permanently deleting both my profiles.

Even if deviantart backs down from this decision and by some miracle starts improving on their platform, I have no desire to support this place or have my work displayed here anymore.

The way the staff treats it's users is just deplorable and I'm very done with it.

I wish for those who decide to stay here a lot of patience, luck and success; I felt very bitter and sad deleting everything I had here after many years.

I understand the emotional attachment and using this place as storage for your art, so I definitely don't judge those who decide to stay!

There's no perfect platform and I doubt we'll be able to escape AI being implemented into places or being treated badly by these platforms- but it's just how deviantart keeps spitting on people's faces so blatantly...nah.
